内地女孩悦然（冯丽丽饰）在香港读大学，一日，她被流氓骚扰陷入危机，洪兴古惑仔仇孝天（关智斌饰）出手相救，并因意外伤人入狱两年。此时，悦然对仇孝天一见钟情。两年后，孝天出狱，即将以香港大学优秀毕业生身份毕业的悦然找到孝天表白。面对悬殊的社会身份差距，一开始他并不敢接受悦然的爱，后来在悦然的积极鼓励下，仇孝天重新做人，接手了祖传的武馆，正式开始新的生活，同时与悦然定下婚约。就在二人即将结婚的时候，仇孝天自幼的好兄弟出事了 [3] 。
